Patriotic Pictures 4th Of July Extravaganza!

Happy 4th Of July Everybody!

Today will be an assembly of patriotic pictures in on big fat stinkin' blowout extravaganza! It's gonna be one big blur of red, white and blue so hold on to your shorts!

First things first:

Amy from ProcheinAmy sent me a picture that started it all off. Really, she visits this place quite frequently and I really owe it to her just for reader loyalty's sake. Anyway, here's the first picture of Amy's girls at a "Support The Troops" rally:

Now that we have the image that started today's idea off, here's a bunch more with the links of where I got them from:

This one taken from the city of Henderson's website. I have no Idea what state.

This one is taken from Schiezer's Gallery:

The Akiba Academy had a mock presidential convention. Since it's a Hebrew academy it's sort of obvious who won: John F. Kerry. Yeah, I thought Lieberman was going to win as well.
(Looking through the images I notice that their Kerry representative was played by "the hot chick".)
More-Patriotic-kids.jpg

This one is from The Ranch FM 92 in Fredricksburg. Is there something about Virginia that just screams patriotism?

Here's one from Steward Army base when the president came for a visit:

Here's the caption from here: LINK
PATRIOTIC KIDS: Levy Shaw, 3, right, recites the Pledge of Allegiance with other preschoolers, such as Aiko Miranda, 4, left, at the Precious Preschoolers Learning Center in Tamuning, Guam. After the Sept. 11 attacks on America, many schools on Guam joined millions of Americans in promoting patriotism.

Anybody wondering why only thirteen? Yes, everyone get's a cookie. Thirteen original colonies.

Now I have a challenge:
I've given you the first 13 I need the other 37 for the rest of the states. If we get more than 37 I'll include Guam and Puerto Rico and whatever other contries we're close to.

C'mon People!
Send me your Pictures!
Link me your Pictures!

14. I'm linking directly to Jess at LOSLI for this extra one. call it D.C. if you want. You'll see why I didn't steal the image once you're there. Let me just give you the caption:

I solemly swear to protect the flag.
Even if I have to lay my body over it to protect it from harm

15. Here's one e-mailed to my from EIP:

17. William Teach over at The Pirates Cove has a good pinup. We have the same situation here as we did with LOSLI. I won't take the image bot give a link.

18. Amy, the instigator of this whole thing has more patriotic pictures to share. Here's one more from Amy at ProcheinAmy:

On Friday, the girl's day care had a 4th of July Parade. Luckily my anti-MIL and FIL were able to get pictures. The parade route took a whopping 10 minutes as they walked around the school. And they went all out for those 10 minutes. Hats, decorations, noise makers and a bunch of kids and teachers in red, white and blue! (Oldest was sick that day, so no pictures of her.)

19. Gordon, over at Cranky Neocon has a message from Brian Williams. I'm not sure who Brian Williams is so I'll let you go ask him yourselves. LINK

UP TO 19 PICS! 31 OR MORE REMAINING!

Happy 4th of July everyone! Happy 229th aniversary of the Declaration of Independence! Happy Independence Day!

If it is patriotic, and it is Henderson, the state is Nevada ... ;-)

Way cool, Jeremy! What a great post!

I started out on "Fun things to do around Santa Rosa on the 4th" but was mostly busy with family and friends on the 4th. Good excuse I guess!
