Border Patrol Misses Key Opportunity

I'm sure you've seen the protests. Hispanics are "rising up" in protest to the immigration laws being proposed. Well, I could really care less. America, your country is being turned into a joke. Welcome to New France. I swear, legislators and people in general appear to be so stupid these days. This is not a hard problem to fix. I'll get to it in a second.

First, I need to talk about the title of this article. You see, these protests were primarily Hispanic in origin. I'd be willing to bet that at least 25% of those in attendance were illegal aliens. Wouldn’t it have made the appropriate statement to just start rounding them up and processing them back in droves? Immigration just proved its complete and utter failure. It needs some extreme reform.

Despite what people say there was an opportunity to catch several illegal alien gang members amongst the crowds. Anybody ever heard of the gang called MS 13? They used to primarily in Mexico. Now many of the sergeants from Mexico have taken up residence in American Cities. I'd be willing to bet that if we'd have gone through the crowds we'd have been able to catch several of them. Yet another opportunity missed.

Does this make me a racist? Hell no! It does make me a nationalist though. I believe America is for Americans and those that want to become Americans. It's plain stupid to believe that a nationality of any kind is superior in any way to any other. I'm an American, just as many Hispanics, Asians, blacks, Arabians and others. I am not a Mexican, and neither are the legal Hispanics in this country. You should start acting like it.

So, if I'm so smart how do you fix the problem? It's quite simple really. Make it so there's no reason for "undocumented workers" to come here. We make it so there are no jobs that Americans won't do. We take away welfare.

I'm not talking about taking away all welfare. I'm talking about making welfare into a system where the only reason you're on it is because you're physically or mentally incapable of working. So what happens when we're not giving hand-outs to people that can actually work? They take the jobs that Americans won't do, hence removing the need for illegal aliens.

Sure, you can come up with some cockamamie reason why Americans still won't do these jobs, but you'd be wrong. Well, you'd either be wrong or a business that breaks the law by hiring these illegals. You see, an undocumented worker doesn't need benefits, doesn't pay taxes and works for far less than minimum wage. The easy cure for this end of the problem is to start assigning jail time to the business owners hiring the illegals. Why jail time? Well, we've proven that fines don't work. If a company is making more money using the illegal work force then a fine falls under the realm of an acceptable risk. How can I justify jail time? They are providing an enticement for people to cross the border through other than official channels, thus threatening our national security. I would consider that a jailable offense.

I don't understand how people can't see something like this for the elegant simplicity that really exists. If there is no reason for them to come they won't. It's as simple as that; absolutely no nuance involved.
