Newsom - Christian Blackout is a Fallacy!

I have to admit I was sucked into this too. I was sure that none of the mainstream media had touched this. I checked my google news and found nothing. I looked at Snopes and found what I thought was the truth. Well, we've been had. The Associated Press wrote multiple stories on this case. Both Fox News and ABC News published these reports. There was no blackout on this incident. It's just one of many sad, sad stories that didn't grow legs.

Does this make the story any less gruesome? No. Could there still be underlying race issues in the case? Yes. All that happened was a sick, sad, grotesque case didn't get read by Paula Zahn or Emma Pemaraju. It's one of many sad cases that go by the wayside.

I'm not here to bring anybody down about this case. I still believe it has legs that people have overlooked. I would just like to set the record straight about things. The mainstream media did cover the case.

The AP did 'cover' the story, but the search you link to as proof of MSM coverage is laughable. This is little more than an automatic re-posting of all AP news wires using software linked to the AP database. To have been seen by anyone they would have had to keyword exactly what they were looking for, just like you did to create the links. Without prior knowledge of the crime, that would be all but impossible. This story has only made a rather weak showing on fox in the last couple of days (one time). It has not been carried at all by ABC news. Good try, though.

That's absolutely not the point John. The point is I am being honest in my reporting. It was covered in a minor extent by the MSM. It wasn't major coverage and the overall truth hasn't changed. There's still an issue with how little overall coverage this has recieved. I'm simply disclosing everything as I know it.

I do thank you for your comments though. They help to clarify what I meant.
