Have you seen me?

Have you seen this man floating around where you live? Apparently, a Rusty fan may have seen him down in Austin, Texas. He's supposed to by one of the guys that's going to hit us with a dirty bomb and has been on the most wanted list for some time now. So, take a good look and keep an eye out. He may be in Texas. He may be in Arizona by now. Nobody knows where he's at for sure. Just keep a vigil watch out for the guy.

His name is Adnan Al-Shukri Jumaa.

Examples of a Peaceful Islamic Protest

Below Is a series of photos alledgedly taken from a peaceful islamic protest in England. I make no guarantees as to the authenticity of any of these photos, only that they were sent to me about a month ago and really don't bode will for my personal opinion of such a thing as a peaceful Islam. I know one exists out there, but I'm really not seeing too much of it. Here's the full context of what I recieved:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I got this from my friend in Canada. I am appalled at the guts of these jackasses.

Why in the name of God are they even allowed in our Countries?

This needs to be distributed all over the USA!

Maybe one of you with a political blog can work on that.

We recently had a man from Northern Ireland at our Church and he informed us that Islam means submission, not peace as we have been told in the media, see below.....Laura

The Pictures tell it all!

Muslims have stated that England will be the first country they take over!

These are pictures not shown on American TV or in American Newspapers (as they might help Bush's war on terror), but were forwarded to me by a Canadian Friend who thought Americans ought to know!

These pictures are of Muslims marching through the streets of London during their recent "Religion of Peace Demonstration."

Why would anyone think that we should be at war with such nice, peaceful Moslems?!

You need to forward this one!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

If I would hazard a guess I would say these pics were taken over a year ago during the series of protests that brought to light England's extremely lax freedom of hate speech policy. I could always be mistaken though.

Something that catches me a bit off guard is that Rusty is using one of these images in reference to the "Exiled Muslim Cleric Behind London Protest Calling for Pope's Death" article. I'm not sure if he relizes that it's more than likely a stock photo.

An Exercise in Tolerance.

Okay Christians, here you go. Here's your chance to burn down buildings, murder people, blow things up and finish it all off with week long protests burning random stuffed dolls in effigy.

evilchristian.jpg

Yep, any time now you're going to go postal.....

Okay, so you need a bit of time to prepare. I understand. I'll wait...

Still not going crazy?

Didn't think so.

I guess these people don't understand what "religion of peace" is supposed to mean.

I really wouldn't have backed The Pope's statement, but seeing how they react when they're called a religion of Muslim murderers I can't help but change my mind. If everything that is being done over the cartoon and The Pope's comments are how they present Islam they truly are a religion of hate and destruction. There is absolutely no excuse for this.

For those out there that want to tell me, "No! Muslims are not all bad! We're just getting a bad rep from a few bad people!" I'm calling bullshit. It's your fucking religion. Do something to fix it! I haven't heard of a single Imam speaking out against the violence outside the United States and other "civilized" nations. They don't dare. They would be killed. Face the facts please.

The worst thing you're going to do is burn a candle for me, isn't it?

Reflecting on 9/11

Here are my recollections on this fateful day. You may have seen it before but here it is again. The truth hasn't changed. God bless.

¥¥¥
When the first plane hit I was on board the USS Ramage assisting some people with opening a safe that no longer had a combination but still contained classified material. That was my need for being there as I was a Cryptologist and had the clearance to decipher the material. Someone from combat (an area next to ours and the control center of the ship) asked me if we had the scoop on what was going on with the world trade center. I gave him one of those deer in the headlights stares. What the hell was this guy talking about?

I followed him to the mess hall where they had a big screen television (the largest of probably only 10 televisions on the ship and most are only about 20 inches) just in time to see the second plane hit. What the hell was going on? When the first plane hit I thought it was just some idiot that can't steer like that guy they found flying a crop duster around the White house a few years back. When the second plane hit I knew something was wrong. After a few minutes to figure out what I was actually seeing I went back to the place where we were working and told my supervisor at the time what I was seeing. He went to the mess hall, as I could not leave the people cutting into the safe because of the potential classified material.

Much of the next hour was a blur. I remember seeing the pentagon get hit (this is when I finally saw in my own mind what was happening). I remember seeing the towers actually fall. I remember seeing the huge dust cloud and the people running down the streets of New York. I remember the captain of the ship saying that something terrible had happened and we would be conducting an emergency deployment in about an hour (we were probably about an hour into this event). I remember trying to check CNN.com but couldn't get through (I blamed the crappy internet connection that the ship had at the time). I even called my house a couple times before we were deployed and received no answer. I clearly remember though that something horrible had happened in New York and we were going north to make sure it didn't get worse.

Within 2 hours of the first plane hit we were deployed and going north. What I found out a few days later was that we were actually the first ship to pull out of Norfolk (a point of pride). We had about one third of our crew because we were getting ready for a deployment and many people were on leave or otherwise unable to get to the ships because of a base lock-down. I only had about two pair of good underwear on the ship as I did not expect to be deployed and did not believe I needed that stuff on the ship at the time. Luckily, a buddy of mine had a few extra tee shirts and some unused underwear or I would have come back rather crusty. Another piece of good fortune is that they had just restocked the galley so we at least had a good deal of edible food (I say edible because ship food is rarely if ever considered good).

So with none of our gear, (it was stored at a different location from the ship, It's a classified information thing you wouldn't...er...I don't even understand.) and only a third of our crew, we went forth and played "plane guard" for New York. Our job was to listen in on the different radio signals to see if we could hear anything special going on or as a second ear for the bridge when planes wanted to land in New York. (Lets just say we weren't too friendly about people flying around at the time..."This is U.S. Navy WAR Ship. State your name, call sign, .........". We didn't even say what ship we were. The response I remember most was some brit pilot scared half out of his wits saying " this is such-and-such airlines flight xxx-xxxx...umm...please don't shoot."

At the time I thought it was sort of funny but after about an hour or two I started thinking about the guy and how we sounded and realized that yes, we probably would knock him out of the air if he even thought the words "Allah akbar" (god is great). This is not anything against Muslims, they have every right to be here and be free, just like non-Muslims, if not more. It was just as though a small dog came up to the rotweiler on the porch and took a chunk out of his soft underbelly. We were on the complete defensive and wanting something, anything to tear limb from limb.

After about a week (10 days) of this routine, we were relived and went home to our families. When we got home it was like we had missed the most important week in the world. Everyone else in the world had the opportunity to see what was going on, watch the footage, analyze it in your own mind, to mourn the loss. We were not afforded that opportunity. We were on a ship, away from the news, and had to rely on the information our captain told us, and a few snippets of e-mail that managed to slip through to find out what was going on . (I got none by the way.)

Pretty much everybody on the ship did not show any emotion for what had happened. It's not that we were a bunch of crass, unfeeling monsters. We feel all of it, everyday. It's just that we've been trained to do a job no matter what and we realize that if we don't do that job efficiently lives can be lost. We don't have the luxury of thinking about whose fault it is, or how we screwed up, or some hair-brained theory about how Bush planned the whole thing. It is not up to us to decide what it means. It is, however, our obligation to act out the wishes of those in leadership even if it costs us our lives, or time away from our families, nasty living conditions in a hostile environment, etc.

Something that many civilians don't realize is that we've seen MANY more lives lost than you have. I'm not speaking of actually watching people die. I'm speaking of having people that are close to you or associates in your company dieing. These are people that could have been you in a slightly different circumstance. Here's a short list of losses I have been forced to recognize in the same way civilians recognize 9/11: The USS Cole bombing, Khobar towers Bombing, the USS Forestall fire, multiple plane crashes. These are the ones you have read about. Here are a couple you haven't heard about unless you really, really watch the news: USS Leyte Gulf lost part of a boat crew in the Persian Gulf while doing boarding operations, serviceman gets blown up by a lose mine planted by North Korea while on patrol on the DMZ.

I think the thing that stands out most of all are these Monday morning quarterbacks. Where was the outpour of emotion when the OTHER (Khobar) towers were hit? Did any civilians or news agencies demand results when the USS Cole was hit? No. Sure, there was outrage for a bit but everyone said "Well, it's the military and that's what they're paid to do. You know, risking their lives and all. It's okay for our president to sit on his fat ass and collect knobbers like collecting stamps and embarrass the United States and all it stands for. We are all well aware that other presidents have had the same affliction but this was the only time I personally have had to endure the international embarrassment when a president disrespects his position like that. When you're overseas and talking to someone from the host country what do you say? Anyway, this is supposed to be about 9/11 so let me wrap this up.

For me, 9/11 was just one of many losses. As a military member I had to accept what happened and move on to the continued defense of Democracy throughout the world. Apparently, I'm the only one who did. As people complain about how we need to concentrate more on Afghanistan I see they will be having their first free elections on October. The only reason I have a link to this is the median was trying to show how we're failing over there by highlighting how we lost 23 people in Afghanistan this year. Yeah, right, failing; of the over 9 million registered to vote, (about 90 percent of the estimated eligible electorate) 41.4 percent are women. Gee, that just says failure to me. It's a loss to me but I can accept it. We have other, more pressing matters to attend to in the world. We need to make the hard decisions in the world. No one else will make them. The UN has been proven corrupt; I'll prove it if you want. Many of our allies turned their backs to us because we took the path less traveled by. Unfortunately, what we need to do in the world isn't always "PC". Sometimes you need to do the internationally unpopular thing to ensure American safety. Peace isn’t always the right answer. If my opinions makes me just another American warmonger, (blatant plug) then so be it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For those that may have seen the video some little punk put together about how 9/11 was faked there are several rebuttals to his statements. One of which can be found here. I was reading a great one last night but can't seem to find it.
One thing I can do is find airplane wreckage at the pentagon:
I'd also believe Popular Mechanics and Nist over some punk kid. Nist did the twin towers as well.
I hope the gives you some ammo against the idiots in America.
Democrats and 9/11
So, I'm pretty sure you've all seen this. All the talking heads in the DNC doing their best to stop ABC from doing the movie. One of them even went as far as calling it a mocudrama. The best part is not a single one of them have even seen it yet. This, of course, begs the question, "what's there to hide?"
Well, let me tell you why they're trying to instill thier "civic duty" with a document written in 1934. They're afraid of losing votes. I really don't see any other reason they'd be so abject to protesting something they haven't seen yet. Lord knows they don't give two shits about protecting the public from anything. Hell, how many dead soldiers can you fit in Iraq? Of course, the answer is, "ask a democratic politician".
The counter argument to this is that, "it's horribly innacurate and shows Republicans in a positive light. It's Republican propaganda!" Gee, lets see, democrats opposed to something that might show a few of them in a bad light. Yep, that has to be funded by the GOP. Definitely some vast right-wing conspiracy. It reminds me of all the religious movies that people bitch and complain about. It's a controversial subject. Some people won't like it and that's okay. They don't have to watch it. Just like some people never watched Passion of the Christ. It doesn't mean it's propaganda. Just wait until the movie has been played to judge it.
Something else that makes me take notice here is that even though the 9/11 report is out most of America isn't going to read it, including myself. 400+ pages of dryness? No thank you. I'll go watch a movie or two. Oh, you turned the 9/11 report into a movie? Great! I'm there! People are going to watch and going to see exactly what happened. If it goes against what the 9/11 commission put together then there will be grounds for lawsuits and such. If it shows people on both sides of the fence to be morons, but is accurate, the DNC will just have to shut the fuck up.
We'll see how it plays out by tomorrow night.
How did I rate a publicity promo?
Did anybody else get this?
Hi Jeremy,
Throughout our country’s history, American politics have been divided into two prominent political parties. As debates amongst Democrats and Republicans continue to rage about who is responsible for our country’s problems, New York City talk show host Kevin McCullough believes that politicians, specifically liberals, need to stop playing the blame game, and start using commonsense to restore truth, justice and values in America.
You may be interested in blogging about this kind of thinking and the effect this could have on the war, politics, and American life in general.
In his new book, MuscleHead Revolution: Overturning Liberalism with Commonsense Thinking (Harvest House Publishers, August 2006), McCullough calls for a commonsense revolution to overthrow the power which liberalism holds over the media, educational systems and the nation’s values. MuscleHead Revolution is not just another liberal-bashing treatise, as McCullough offers action plans and suggestions for involvement, including a personal call to a MuscleHead “Declaration of Revolution.” Using his faith as a guide, he urges all conservative-minded Americans and others to rise up and do something about the increasingly insidious assault on the foundation and values that have made America great. A conservative to the core, McCullough encourages readers to:
• See through the deceptions of liberal ideology
• Respond with intelligence and clear thinking about the issues of the day
• Understand the real basis for values
McCullough hosts a daily talk show called “MuscleHead Revolution” on WMCA-AM in New York City. He is also a syndicated columnist for WorldNetDaily and Crosswalk.com, and has had columns published in the New York Post, The New York Daily News, the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun-Times. The Hunter and the Stingray
Steve Irwin, while filming off the coast of Australia, was stung in the heart by a stingray and died. The barb actually punctured his heart and, due to the puncture as well as the venom, died almost instantly. It was a complete freak occurence and only a handful of Stingray deaths have ever been reported. The entire world mourns his loss. He was a great man that will be missed.
How do I feel about it? I'm saddened that his life was cut short at 44. He had many more good years in him. There were many more things he could have accomplished. However, he had held the tail of the tornado more times than statistically possible and came out unscathed. When you put your life in extreme danger with wild animals as much as you have all the training, experience and instinct will not ensure your survival. He lived his life on the edge. Everybody was expecting it every time he said, "Now I normally wouldn't do this, but...". At least he went out doing the one thing he loved to do in life.
So what about the footage already shot for that documentary, particularly his death? I believe it is his last but greatest lesson and needs to be shared. Wild animals, by the definition of their name, are WILD. There are a plethora of wild animals that can, at any time, kill you dead. Yes, they are to be appreciated and respected for what they are but they should not be interfered with. Respect nature and WILDlife for what it is and leave it as you found it. It's the ultimate lesson in wildlife conservation.
This lesson is punctuated by the nature of his death. Stingrays, although potentially dangerous, pale in comparison to the beasts Steve had danced with and come out unscathed. Even the relatively innocuous animals in nature have to ability to put you down. The story needs to be told in-full.
Lou Dobbs an Independent?
Whatever he is he doesn't have any love for either political party. At least not with quotes like these he doesn't:
Democrats are in the hands of the same people as Republicans; the special interest groups. Which leaves us, the american people and small business owners out in the cold.
Is this a turning of the tide? Has one of Communist News Networks beloved started to turn into a thinking human being instead of a puppet with a corporate hand shoved up his back-side? Only time will tell. I can tell you one thing. He's no Wolf Blitzer (Thank God).
I am No Oil-Drinker, No Racist and No Warmonger.
Earlier I received a comment from someone that doesn't seem to remember me. I respect him as a person, but his comment caught my eye and I have to speak on it.
Hey there, glad to meet another, oil drinking, minority oppressing, big business supporting, voter disenfranchising, war-mongering blogger.
There are just several things right and wrong with this statement. It's right to believe that all of these are misconceptions for people. He is right in presenting these statements as incorrect, yet common, stereotypes, if it is meant to be so. You see, I am truly all and none of these things.
I am not an oil drinker. I understand we have problems with renewable resources and need to take efficient steps to push research and production for new fuels as well as alternative energy sources, including nuclear. I also understand the current need to open up our own capabilities in Alaska and elsewhere.
I am not minority oppressing. I have been oppressed by minorities for a good portion of my life. I've lived in areas that are predominantly Hispanic and black and been the "cracker" or "gringo" whose ass they intend to kick. When you start looking at college for your future you have to do better than blacks or Hispanics to be equal, just to compensate for affirmative action. (Yes, I know there is no more AA. When I was looking for college there was none.) I am not to say that all blacks and Hispanics are racists. It simply appears that there are more of them in those communities than there are in white communities. They get away with their racism too. Could you imagine the mayor of New York saying that New York will be a vanilla city at the end of the day? I bet it would cause an uproar for Arnold Schwarzenegger to declare an area "Hymietown". Yes, I'm the one who's been oppressed by minorities.
I do not support big business. The only thing that comes to mind when I hear about big business is monopoly. For some reason I keep reviewing the Sherman Anti-trust Act in my mind and carrying it over into present day America. I frequently look at the company I work for today and wish there was a way to negotiate with this machine. There is an inherent danger when you create a big business. They change from doing the ethical thing to doing the legal thing. The better your lawyers the more legal things become. I do not support big business as a whole. I support companies, no matter what size, that provide a valuable service at a reasonable price and do the ethical thing, no matter what size they are.
I am not voter disenfranchising. I would like to think that I am the disenfranchised voter. I have not voted since the presidential elections. The politics of things are so ridiculous and the fighting so stupid that everyone involved has lost my vote. I no longer vote republican or democrat. I'll only vote if I can find a worthy candidate. You will not get my vote by proving the other guy is worse than you are. You have to earn my vote.
Last but not least.
I am not a warmongerer. In an ideal world there would be no need for war. Everybody could negotiate a compromise to every problem, even religous problems. This is, however, not a perfect world. We live in a world where an entire religious group believes that all other religions are a scourge upon the earth and need to be "wiped off the map". We are in a war not of our own making. We are in a war of religious freedom where Islamism is threatening the rest of the religions throughout the world. I do not wish anybody kill anybody else. I still think there are political maneuvers we can do to make this problem ineffective. Things like forcing an oil embargo on Iran and Saudi Arabia. (No, I never said they were easy maneuvers.) If terrorists have no money then they can't support their cause. It's similar to the way we shut Soviet Russia down. However, I understand there is no way in the free world we could get China, Russia and several other countries to abide by this. Hence, our need to have rough men who stand ready. There is no other path we can take. If there was a viable alternative I would not advocate war upon anybody. Unfortunately, we can't force free or communist nations to their international civic duty when the League or United Nations is the recognized world legislative body.
No, I am none of the things I have been called, but I have been accused of each and every one of them several times over.
Politically Apathetic
Yep, that's just about where I am right now. I'm politically apathetic. I just find it so stupid, or political system. We make these imaginary lines about what classifies you as a democrat or republican. We're told what we're supposed to think by politicians on both sides of the fence that could care less about anybody but themselves. We're then told to shun the people that don't think the same way we do. We treat them as outcasts in their own country. Is this how we're supposed to treat our fellow Americans? No, it's not.
Sure, I'm probably going to get flamed from friends and enemies alike for this, but it's not simply one party that's killing America. It's this notion that one party is any better than the other. It's the constant fighting between the parties that are tearing us apart. It's the opportunity to "one-up" the opposing party that destroys bills that should have been instituted to help people, to save lives. Yep, there I said it. political devisiveness kills people.
It's not about taking a stand for what you believe in. I've seen people that take a stand for what they believe in. What I see every day in politics is not it. It's political followership. When one party looks at the other and calls them sheeple they're right. Both parties are full of sheeple that don't think for themselves. It's sad really. Half the time they don't even realize they're being led by the pied piper of politics. They just do what they're told they think is right.
In reality America is somewhere in the middle of where politics puts its line. Most of us just want a rational compromise that makes sense. We don't want compromise that completely destroys the purpose behind the legislation. We want compormise that is actually thought out as acceptible for Americans. We could care less what the parties think.
So, what am I saying? I'm saying the political arena has put such a bad taste in my mouth that I shy away from blogging so I don't have to see the complete idiocy of it all. It disgusts me to see people so bent on the destruction of the other party that they don't understand that they're wishing ill on their fellow Americans. Hell, maybe I'm more idealistic than either party, but I believe in a different America. I believe in an America where Americans can work together, not blacks and whites, or Republicans or Democrats, or even Vegans and Carnivores. To repeat a phrase, "We need to hang together or we will all hang separately."
